On Monday 11 December, Jim Murdock from Glen Alva House (run by the Salvation Army) came to collect the charity hampers made by the pupils and staff. He was blown away by the response (he was actually speechless when he saw the huge pile of hampers) – we stopped counting hampers when we reached 60 boxes. This has been the BEST EVER response to the charity hamper appeal.
Jim had visited the school in November to take assemblies explaining the purpose of the hampers – to help homeless people. The girls responded with extreme generosity and enthusiasm and many even made their own hampers.
We wish to thank all the pupils and staff and especially the parents who supported their daughters in contributing to this worthy charity.
May you too have a very Happy Christmas.

Jim Murdock said, “I was so absolutely blown away by the generosity of the girls when I came for the hampers on Monday. The school has been so good to us over recent years, but this year it was totally amazing.”
