Dakota Lawther is in 8FR and has been participating the Accelerated Reader scheme in school from September, where girls read books and then take quizzes about those books through the AR programme.  If students get the questions right they are then awarded a point for every word they have read and Dakota has read over one million words!

We are having a hard job keeping up with her as she is racing through books at a rate of knots.  But Dakota, a huge Cathy Cassidy and Jaqueline Wilson fan, is determined to try to reach her next million words as soon as possible.  Great job Dakota – keep reading.
