A massive thank you from everyone at the Belfast Model School for Girls to the primary school students and their parents who came to our Open Evening on Thursday 4th January to experience what our fantastic school has to offer. This is always a very exciting time for girls making choices about which school they would like to attend in September and the Open Evening is a great opportunity to meet prospective students and parents and to show off our state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional provision.
Ms P Stuart, Principal, said “I am delighted that on such a cold evening so many parents and P6/P7 girls took time yesterday to visit our wonderful school. Despite the crowd and queue, a very warm and personal welcome was extended to all. Visitors had the opportunity to listen to our students talking about their school, to wander freely to see first-hand our fantastic facilities and to participate in many of the activities taking place, as shown in the images below. As the newly appointed Principal I was both very proud of and impressed by the work and presentations of students and staff. One girl told me ‘Miss, I really love this school!’. We are encouraged by the very obvious support from our community. We are confident that we will continue to go from strength to strength so that we bring to reality our mission of Achievement for All. I wish to thank all who contributed in any way to helping make this such and enjoyable and successful event.”
