This term, the Year 8 Geography classes have been learning about life in the rainforest. They have investigated the structure of the forest, the nutrient cycle, the climate and have been amazed by the sustainable and ingenious lifestyles of the indigenous peoples of the forest.
They have been completing class work and “takeaway” homework to build up a body of work full of colour, fun and learning. They have even written letters to the president of Brazil to put the case for slowing down the rate of deforestation. The work produced has been outstanding and most of all we have had fun.
