Our ‘GMS Nightclub’ has been launched to provide a silent supervised study space for our Year 12 students and to encourage independent study in the lead up to exams. Our tagline is ‘Study for Success’.

The idea has stemmed from conversations with some students that highlighted that they maybe had a lack of study space at home or found it difficult to settle to study at home. It will take the following format:

• Monday and Wednesday in the LRI Centre (Library)
• Commence on Monday 9th April 2018 and run for 6 weeks
• Two Study Sessions:
  • Study Session 1: 3.45pm – 4.30pm
  • Study Session 2: 4.45pm – 5.30pm
• Break in the Common Room: 4.30pm – 4.45pm (Juice/Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate provided and biscuits)
• Buses provided home at 5.30pm

On attendance at the nightclub, students will receive a ‘loyalty card’ that will be stamped each time they attend. If they attend 8+ sessions this term they will become a VIP member and receive a reward!
