As part of Maths Week 2018 our Year 8 students took part in a day of Mathematics activities led by Mrs Watson.  The students had the opportunity to show off their dancing skills while revising their times tables.  They then had the opportunity to be creative and make up their own songs to help their peers revise different Mathematics topics.  This was so successful that 2 groups taught their song to everyone and this was recorded for the school website. 

After lunch the students had to ‘say what they saw’ and test their CATCHPHRASE knowledge!! The excitement around the room was immense and one pupil had no voice the next day in school due to shouting out the answers.

Mrs Watson would like to say a huge thank you to all the students for their positivity on the day.  Also to the Mathematics department for working together to make the day a huge success.  Roll on Maths Week in 2019!!!
