Just in time for World Book Day 2019, Mrs Corner’s Year 8s have once again demonstrated that they are well and truly ‘Model’ girls. In their Independent projects, they have produced creative responses to their favourite novels that are the envy of the Art Department. A fireplace from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, a scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and even one of the BFG’s hands are now holding pride of place within the English Department along with board games, posters and other dioramas that bring scenes from novels to life for us all to enjoy. The dedication, creativity and hard-work of all girls must be commended. Well done Year 8!!!
