It’s that time of year again when the GMS Nightclub opens for business!

A change this year is that our GMS Nightclub is open to the whole of our KS4 cohort so students from both Years 11 and 12 are welcome to attend!

GMS Nightclub will run every Monday and Wednesday beginning tomorrow (Wednesday 26th February) to provide a silent supervised study space from 3.30pm – 5.30pm for our KS4 students that will encourage independent study in the lead up to exams. Our tagline is “Study for Success”.

The GMS Nightclub is divided into 2 silent Study Sessions held in the Post-16 study area:
Monday –
Study Session 1: 3.45pm – 4.30pm. Study Session 2: 4.45pm – 5.30pm

Wednesday –
Study Session 1: 3.15pm – 4.00pm. Study Session 2: 4.15pm – 5.00pm with a break in between where students are offered juice/tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits in the Sixth Form Common Room.

Free bus transport is also provided home at the end of study session 2.

On attendance at the Nightclub, students receive a “loyalty card” that is signed and dated each time they attend a session. If they attended an identified number of sessions during the half term they became a VIP member and received a reward and also can avail of a special “VIP break”!
