Congratulations to Year 8 student Poppy Martin who has just completed Cancer Research UK’s Shine Night Walk last Friday night. Poppy walked the 10k route around Belfast with her mum to raise a total of £430 between them for research into brain cancer.

Poppy’s great-uncle was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and when Poppy saw the walk advertised, she wanted to walk to help him and completed the 10K in just under 2 hours.
