We have been “Remembering” in the Belfast Model School for Girls over the last few days. Many of us have worn poppies and the whole school took part in an act of remembrance on Thursday 11th November. A short silence was observed as we remembered the fallen from both World Wars and those still involved in conflict today.
On Monday 15th November we had a virtual Remembrance Assembly reflecting on the centenary of The Royal British Legion and the sacrifices made by those in the past and in the present. Thank you to Diana Adlali and Ashley McClure from Year 10 who helped to lead the assembly.
