On Thursday 20th January History students in Years 13 and 14 went down to Dublin and visited Glasnevin Cemetery and Dublin City Centre. In Glasnevin they were able to see the graves and hear the stories of many significant figures in Irish History such as Michael Collins and Eamon De Valera. After lunch they participated in a walking tour of the city centre which brought to life their study of the Easter Rising of 1916. A very enjoyable and worthwhile trip!
