Over the weekend, 5 Students from Belfast Model School for Girls Travelled to Manchester to compete in the Northern Zonal rounds of the Schools Trampolining Competition, representing GMS after great success in the Northern Ireland competition. We had 4 individuals competing and 1 team competing. Again, we had great success! Sian Walker came 1st, winning the year 10-14 Intermediate section and Mylie Bright came 3rd in the year 7-9 intermediate section. Both of these girls are now through to the UK National Finals! Charlee Wright came in 6th in the year 10-14 Elite category, the first time she has competed at this level! She just missed out on National Finals by one place. Also, a massive well done to Maddie Cunningham and Eve Fraser for reaching this stage of the competition. Congratulations and good luck to Sian and Mylie in the National Finals in Macclesfield, England on Saturday 12th March!
