At the beginning of December, students took part in a Q&A session with South Down MLA, Diane Forsythe. Diane discussed her road into politics, the issues she is passionate about, what it is like to be a woman in politics and took time to answer many questions from the class.

On the same week, the students attended Stormont Parliament Buildings for a guided tour, presentation and Q&A with North Belfast MLA Brian Kingston. Students were given a detailed history of Stormont, the political system in Northern Ireland, the different parties and the issues currently facing the Executive.

Many thanks to both Diane Forsythe and the team at Stormont, for their giving up their time to impart knowledge that will undoubtedly help the students with their exam preparation.
