On Wednesday 14th December, the A-Level English Literature classes had the privilege to attend a Belfast Literary Tour with John McGribben.

This was a two-hour walking tour of Belfast city centre which covered past and contemporary writers born in Belfast, or who lived in Belfast for some time, and wrote about this great city across the genres of poetry, prose and drama The tour dealt not only with the writers’ work, but also with their connection to Belfast and gave insights into the history of Belfast and the buildings which embody that history, stopping at significant literary landmarks. The tour was a great complement to A Level Literature syllabus and enthused students with ideas for festive reading.
