On Saturday 25th February, 8 students from Belfast Model School for Girls competed in the Zonal rounds of the British Gymnastics Schools Trampolining competition. This was held in Ards Blair Mayne Leisure Centre. The girls competed against schools from across the north of England, having progressed from the regional rounds. Massive congratulations to all students, especially Sian Walker who came 1st in the Year 10-14 intermediate category and Mylie Bright who placed 4th. Both students are through to the National Finals which will be held in Birmingham in a few weeks’ time. We also send our well wishes to Maddie Cunningham who unfortunately suffered an ankle injury during her first routine. We hope you recover soon!
