Generation Innovation is a free one-of-a-kind work experience programme designed to empower, enable, and upskill young people for the workplace of tomorrow.
We’re getting in touch today to let you know about the upcoming Generation Innovation Work Experience programme with Catalyst this June. This year’s programme is funded by the DfE and we would welcome applications from your Year 13 and Year 14 students to take part in the event. Together with our expert facilitators, NI’s leading companies, and previous programme participants, we have designed the most incredible in-person version of this highly successful programme. This Work Experience is the perfect opportunity for 17- and 18-year-olds to upskill for the jobs of the future. Students will receive Design Thinking training over the course of 4 or 5 days (depending on which location they apply to), learn how to work as part of a team, and develop innovative solutions for some of the most successful and dynamic companies in Northern Ireland. |
We can facilitate up to 600 students across 3 locations and would love to welcome as many students from your school as possible. Please see this leaflet for more info or visit our website to find out more. Students simply need to click on the ‘Apply Now’ button on the website and complete a short application form (which takes up to 10 mins) and then we’ll take it from there to ensure they are ready to go in June. This year, we will be delivering our one-week programme across three locations: Option 1: 13th – 16th June | Derry-Londonderry, The Guildhall Option 2: 19th – 23rd June | Belfast, Catalyst, Queen’s Road Option 3: 26th – 29th June | Dungannon, The Junction If any of your staff or students have any questions or would like more information, please pass my contact details on to them and I’ll be happy to assist! Many Thanks, Judith Camblin Programme Manager |
