On Monday 13th March the Belfast Model School for Girls welcomed Pastor Neal Gordon from Shankill Baptist Church to give an assembly to both our Junior and Senior students on this week’s theme, ‘kindness’.  

Neal told the story of The Good Samaritan and challenged students not only to be kind to the people we like but also to those we do not always get along with.  Neal also provided students with practical examples as to how we could look out for those around us and show kindness such as befriending a girl who is sitting on her own at break time or offering to help someone who is struggling with their homework.  It is important that we all learn from the story and follow the advice given.  A big thank you to Neal for taking the time out to speak to our students.
