On Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th April more than 300 cyclists will descend upon Belfast as part of Cycle Against Suicide, a mental health awareness project which highlights the message – “It’s OK not to feel OK; and it’s absolutely OK to ask for help”.
Their visit to the city is being hosted by 11 schools in North Belfast and local community groups. Colm Hayes, CEO of Cycle Against Suicide, told Belfast Live: “We are so excited to be coming to Belfast as part of our cycle around Ireland to raise awareness of mental health issues and even more excited to be coming to the Belfast Boys’ Model School in North Belfast to an amazing mental health event bringing together eleven schools from the local community, it will be brilliant.”
