On Thursday 23rd November 2017 we were delighted to hold our Annual Prize Giving Ceremony in our school’s central hall. The evening featured a number of brilliant performances from:

Senior Choir (and Mercy College) – ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’
Singing for Fun – Abba – ‘Waterloo’
Soloist: Leah Murphy – ‘On My Own’ Les Miserables
Clarinet Duet – Olivia Quinn – ‘The Entertainer’

A special thanks to all of our guests at our annual Prize Giving 2017 who helped to make the evening one of great celebration for the fantastic achievements of our students and congratulations to all of our prize winning students, both past and present.

On behalf of the staff and pupils of the Belfast Model School for Girls, thank you to our Guest of Honour, Sandara Kelso-Robb MBE, CEO of Giving Northern Ireland, the Board of Governors and all who organised the event.

Acting Principal, Mrs Logan said “Our Awards Evening was a very special occasion when we celebrated the many outstanding achievements and personal bests from 2016/17. It was wonderful to see so many parents and friends of the school there. Special thanks must go to Sandara Kelso-Robb MBE for accepting our invitation and delivering such an interesting and thought provoking address. There was a fantastic programme of music and entertainment which contributed to the lovely atmosphere throughout the evening.”
