Year 8 Paper Bags

Year 8 had to produce a “Paper Bag” as part of their Term 1 English work. The purpose of this was to tell their English teacher all about them and also to take part in a formal presentation. The students used lots of adjectives to describe themselves, they completed writing tasks describing their family, friends and hobbies; they even designed thier own games to test the teacher! The teachers had to guess where the students lived based on the clues! The formal presentations were excellent – the students had to present 3 objects, placed in their bags, to sum up their likes and interests. Mrs McKeown is delighted with the amount of time, effort and independent work put into these projects. Very well done Year 8!
