We were all delighted to hear that Mrs Jacqueline Weir, Chairman of our Board of Governors, has been recognised in the New Year’s Honours list.  Jacqueline Weir, a volunteer with Girlguiding Ulster, was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty the Queen in honour of her inspirational volunteering efforts with Girlguiding Ulster, supporting girls and young women over the last 45 years. She has also been recognised for her work with the school governorship, her church and the wider community.

Congratulations Mrs Weir, we wish you all the best with your trip to Buckingham Palace and we cant wait to hear all about it!
