A massive thank you from everyone at the Belfast Model School for Girls to the primary school students and their parents who came to our Open Evening on Thursday 10th January 2019 to experience what our fantastic school has to offer.  This is always a very exciting time for girls making choices about which school they would like to attend in September and the Open Evening is a great opportunity to meet prospective students and parents and to show off our state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional provision.

Ms P Stuart, Principal, said ‘Having been Principal here now for one full year, I can sincerely say that this is an excellent school. What I like most about working here is the ‘feel’ of this school – the sense of order and discipline; the spirit of cooperation and friendliness; the warmth of the relationships between the staff, parents and students; the sense of care and joy – all brought together by a strong focus on high quality learning and teaching. It has often been said that young people may forget some of what we teach them but they will never forget how we made them feel – I know in this school that the girls do feel good about themselves – they are confident, kind, smart, polite, well informed and very proud of their school and their community – we are very proud of them  – they have come along this evening, in great numbers, as ambassadors for their school…’  

Thank you also to the very hard working and dedicated staff and students who gave our visitors a fantastic display of the work and life of our school. Congratulations and very well done to one and all!
