The European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001 and so to mark the 20th Anniversary of this important day, the Modern Languages department wanted to celebrate the students in Belfast Model School for Girls who speak an additional language.

But why stop at just European languages?

As you can see in this video, we have students who speak languages from all across the world. How cool is that? If these girls are in your form class or your year group, why not strike up a conversation to find out more about the other language(s) they speak? You might just learn something new!
