On Monday 9th May Year 9 students took part in an Ulster Plantation Outreach Programme. They met historical characters including Lord Lorcan O’Neill and John Archdale as they discussed the Plantation of Ulster. They also had the opportunity to handle an array of authentic weapons and armour including pikes, crossbows, epees and blunderbuss pistols. The programme was delivered by the Educational Outreach Team from Armagh City & Banbridge Borough Council.
