On Friday, 28th May, Year 13 Careers classes took part in a Q&A session taken by Dr Linda Oyama, a Lecturer in Microbiology at Queen’s University. She told us of her inspirational journey from being a small child who was curious about everything to now having a substantial track record of publishing within the field of microbiology – including infectious diseases in the clinical and agricultural sector. The session was very informative and Dr Oyama was a fantastic role model for our students to hear from and be inspired by.
