On Friday the 25th of September we celebrated European Day of Languages here at the Girls Model School. To help us promote language learning amongst the students and celebrate the rich diversity of languages on the continent of Europe all the teachers were asked to greet their classes on Friday with either ‘Bonjour’ or ‘¡Hola!’. All Key Stage 3 pupils received a European Day of Languages sticker and Year 8s also got a bracelet. There were lots of entries for the languages quiz, but only those with top marks received prizes. Winners were Elisha, Renait, Shauna, Mylie, Sophie, Eden and Shontay-Rose from Year 8. Sophie in 9M, as well as Ecclesia and Aman in Year 10 also received prizes.
