We were privileged to see some of our students’ work exhibited in the University of Ulster, in York Street on Wednesday 19th October as part of the North Belfast Area Learning Community. The exhibition was opened by Dr Brian Dixon, Head of the Belfast School of Art UU and featured a selection of work from 12 North Belfast Schools. The high standard of artwork demonstrated across the different media included painting, graphic design, printmaking, sculpture, photography and digital art. It is evident that versatility and creativity is being actively encouraged and we, in the Art & Design Department of BMSG, are very proud of our students as they progress to the growing Creative Industries Sector of Northern Ireland!
