As future leaders of Northern Ireland, five of our Post-16 students attended the Opening Ceremony of the One Young World Summit 2023 at the SSE on Monday 2nd October, accompanied by Mrs Corner. Together, they were captivated by the inspirational words of Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan and Northern Ireland’s very own Oscar Winning, James Martin. With music, song, dance, poetry and art that celebrates international and local talent, our students joined young people from over 190 countries in enjoying this once in a lifetime opportunity in the heart of Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. If you look really carefully, you might even see Ms Boyd dancing in the audience of 1000s from around the world.
