At the beginning of February, we had the pleasure of introducing Anna Monaghan and Melissa Nugent to our Year 13 students to talk about becoming STEM Ambassadors and taking part in Nuffield Research placements.

Taking part in one or both programmes will provide fantastic opportunities for students to work alongside researchers and industry professionals to apply their skills and knowledge learned at school to:

1. Develop subject understanding and skills to expand career opportunities 
2. Learn more about higher education and different career paths.
3. Enhance UCAS personal statements and applications to university.
4. Apply for a CREST Award and opportunity to apply for ‘International Science School’ in Sydney 2024
