The school formal will be held on Thursday 9th February at the Culloden Hotel.  Doors open at 6.30pm and the meal will be served at 6.45pm promptly.

Due to a PSNI enforcement of licensing laws, the Culloden are unable to permit underage guests on the premises after 9.30pm.

This was not a decision taken by either Model School. This change to our plans was communicated to the school by the Culloden Hotel for the first time on Tuesday 7th February.

Consequently, all guests under eighteen years of age will be required by the Culloden Hotel to leave the hotel  at this time and buses will be provided, at no additional cost, to take students to Belfast Boys’ Model School for pick up.

We appreciate that some of the older students will also wish to leave at 9.30pm, so the bus to the Boys’ Model will have a drop off at the after-formal venue, Villa, on route.

Additional buses will be available at 11.30pm to Villa, for any 18 year old students who wish to remain at the Culloden, and if there is demand, another bus can be provided at 12.30pm for any legal aged students who are not attending the after formal.  This bus will again do a drop off at Belfast Boys’ Model School. Again, there is NO charge for the bus.

To offset the early departure for some guests, the photographer has agreed to be at the venue by 6pm and students who arrive early can take advantage of this.
