BBC Project: Make It Super Assembly with Gerry Carlile

On Tuesday 16th May a group of students from Year 8, 9 and 10 who are passionate about sport attended a Super Assembly with Gerry Carlile at The Belfast Boy’s Model School.  Make It is a BBC project to help students decide on career paths and increase aspiration. Super assemblies are where you get to meet someone local who has ‘made it’.  This time restaurateur, business man, author and Ireland’s first ever Football Agent, Gerry Carlile was the guest speaker. Our very own Holly Brookes managed to ask a question to Gerry, “what’s the first thing you do with a good idea?”.  All the girls thoroughly enjoyed the Super Assembly and found it very inspiration. Thank you to the BBC for the invite for this great event!
