A BIG congratulations to our Y9 students Gabriela Zubel and Kaitlyn Horner who won the regional finals of the Big School Cook Off yesterday!!! The girls really impressed the judges from Mount Charles, Super Valu and the Irish News who, not only commented their creative ‘twist’ on a traditional Paella but who also complimented their teamwork, level of skills and their ability to taste and season their dish just like professional chefs!! The girls will now be busy perfecting their dish to an even higher standard in preparation for the Northern Ireland finals on 6th March at the Belfast Cookery Cooking School. Well done girls – you did us all very proud!
