Last week, students from Key Stage 3 took part in various activities both inside and outside of lessons for Maths Week Ireland. One of these activities was “Hunt the Mathematician” where students had to track down members of staff wearing badges with the names of mathematicians on them. There were 27 to find in total. Congratulations to the winner, Sophie Shaw, who found 25 mathematicians and to the runners up Cherelle Brownlee, Leah McMullan, Brooke Hutchinson and Jessica Holmes-Beattie who found 23!
