On Wednesday 4th December Year 13 ICT pupils took part in a Q&A session with Becca Hume on the development of her App TapSOS.

Becca came in to discuss her journey from idea to App. She gave a brief insight into the 5 busy years she has bringing her ideas to fruition with a live App to help people communicate with emergency services in a non-verbal way.  She spoke about the highs and lows of developing her App, and even showed us the famous faces she has met along the way!

Pupils were able to develop their own interview skills by asking questions and taking notes throughout the session and evidence this as part of their A-Level coursework.

Becca’s message to the pupils in her former school was simple “If you have an idea – go for it! Don’t worry about how you are going to get there, just keep going!”
