The AS Geography students had the perfect weather for a walking tour of Belfast.  Starting at Smithfield and the sites of inner city decay, the students visited areas of redevelopment and regeneration at Cathedral Quarter, Laganside and Titanic Quarter including a quick glance at the Titanic Hotel.  With a distance of 5.4 miles covered in total including the return journey past the Waterfront Hall and the riverfront developments, the students finished their tour with some eats at the Christmas market – well, they are feasts from around Europe – very geographical and tasty!
