Jasmine Parker, Madison Beatty, Louisa Clugston, Jessica Irvine and Tegan Ivens were accompanied by Miss Jemphrey and Ms Clarke on a trip to the amazing Merchant Hotel for some delicious Afternoon Tea.
The girls and I were amazed at the decor of the hotel as we entered and were greeted and taken to our table. Once our teas and coffees were ordered we browsed the menu and ordered.
We sat, chatted and drank our tea and then before you knew it a flock of servers delivered a mountain of sandwiches, patisseries and more to our table!
Once the food was eaten, and more conversation and tea were had, lovely boxes were given so that we could take the rest of our delights home with us. A quick pit stop at Starbucks en route to our bus stop meant we could refresh ourselves in the gorgeous sunshine whilst waiting on our bus.
On our way into school, all girls declared it was the, “best trip ever”.
The students were an absolute delight to be with, excellent manors, uniform, and all-round Model girls. They even had a few members of the public in the Merchant comment that they were lovely girls.
A delightful day was had by all, and what an amazing bunch of young ladies to have accompanied. I would not hesitate to take them out again. The company, food, treats and sunshine was simply a worthy way to celebrate their success in participating in the Jubilee Bake Off 2022.
Well done girls, you all made me a very proud teacher today.
