On Friday 27th January , as part of the 4Corners Festival, Mrs Ward and 3 of the A level Art students joined with 6th form students from across Belfast at the Ulster University Belfast campus to explore dreams for themselves and the city.

After a tour around the new campus building with its amazing views over the city the students were mixed into separate groups and were given the task of consolidating their dreams for Belfast in relation to City, People and Environment.

Award-winning photographer Mal McCann (Irish News) led a workshop in smartphone photography before the students worked in groups to capture images that represent their collective vision for Belfast. Mal showed so many techniques of capturing reflections, framing photos, timing and using lighting to create fabulous photos. The students were totally inspired and captured a variety of photos showing the spirit of the City.
