On Friday Year 10 took part in the arts council project had guest speaker author Sue Divin in to talk about her experiences as a writer and the process behind writing a book. Guard Your Heart is Sue’s first novel, in 2022 it won the Great Reads Award (Ireland) and was shortlisted for the prestigious Carnegie Award. Truth Be Told is her second novel and she spent some time talking to pupils about her books, the inspiration behind her characters and what it takes to become a writer.
