Some of our Senior Public Speaking students have been taking advantage of the critical ears of their peers by delivering their speeches. Grace Crowe has been discussing “Frontiers of the Future: Is Space Exploration Worth the Price?” Eden Hayes was exploring “From History to Memory: Are We Neglecting World War II’s Lessons?”.

Their peers in Year 12 provide the perfect audience to listen and critically engage asking challenging questions of their topics to help students’ learn how to think and respond on their feet. Our Model students are looking forward to entering more competitions this year and following up the excellent success we have had in debating and public speaking the past few years.
