Our Year 8 Netball team showed incredible spirit and determination at the Netball Blitz Day held at Queens PE Centre on Thursday 7th November, where they faced some tough competition and gained valuable experience. The team played multiple matches, securing one well-earned victory. The girls gave it their all, demonstrating great teamwork, resilience and attitude.
Standout performances were seen across the board, with players demonstrating sharp passes and strong defence. Special mention must go to Alana Bell for her accurate shooting under pressure as well as showing leadership and encouragement for her teammates in every match.
The day ended with our Year 8 team reflecting on all they’d learned, including new strategies, positioning, and the importance of resilience. Their hard work and progress were clear. We’re incredibly proud of their progress, and we’re excited to see how they build on this day in the games to come!
