On Thursday 5th December the choral students of the Belfast Model School For Girls and St. Dominic’s Grammar School For Girls participated in the annual FISCA competition run by the Flax Trust.  During rehearsals one of the students commented that “when we all sang together it was like a wall of sound and then I realised that I was part of that wall.”  Not only did the students make new friends and sing at an outstandingly high standard, but they also won The George Quigley Cup for the ‘Most Accomplished Senior Choir’, and a cheque for £1000.  The Music Departments of both schools were very proud of their success and hard work.
