All pupils have their finger prints scanned which gives them access to the cashless system. Their account can be topped-up and used to pay for school meals. Pupils who receive free school meals will automatically have their accounts topped up when they use the canteen. All other pupils can top up their accounts as they wish.
Two top up machines are located at the entrances to in the canteen block and they take both coins and notes. Pupils can check the balance on their account at these machines.
The canteen does not take any cash at all and no exceptions can be made.
