Year 8 students have been promoting a positive reading culture in English with the Bookbuzz programme this week. Bookbuzz is a reading programme from Book Trust that aims to help schools inspire a love of reading in 11 to 13-year-olds. Participating schools give their students the opportunity to choose their own book to read from a list of 17 titles. Students have relished the opportunity to read for pleasure and having a choice in what they read.
