On Wednesday 22nd November, Post-16 Sports Leaders took part in the Sheerskills Celebration event. This event is a celebration of their hard work and effort over the last 7 weeks as they have been completing the Sheerskills programme in partnership with Community Sports Network, Blessed Trinity College and Integrated College Glengormley. This programme has helped to develop their leadership skills and enabled them to achieve a Sheerskills participation certificate and a Level 1 qualification in Dodgeball coaching.
Our dedicated leaders have also been working towards their Level 3 Higher Sports Leadership Qualification which they will continue to complete in the coming months. We will also continue to partner with Community Sports Network participating in a Jag Tag programme, leading to another invaluable qualification.
