Today fifteen Year 8 pupils were selected from Art and Design to attend an art workshop at the newly developed York Street train station. They were accompanied by their Art teacher Mr Cahoon. The pupils saw the new major public artwork sculpture on top of the train station which is based on the theme of journey lines. Inside the station the pupils worked with the artists Katharine Paisley and Jennifer Alexander from the Golden Thread gallery. The pupils created their own artwork based on the view from a train.
